— Our Story
A Small Shop With High Standards.
Millie’s Charcuterie Carts started with one frustrated caterer, a borrowed table saw, and the conviction that a serving cart could be a thing of real beauty. Years later, we’re still a small workshop — and we still build every cart by hand.

It Began With a Wobble
Our founder spent a decade running grazing tables out of plastic folding carts that rattled, sagged, and looked like an afterthought next to the food. After one too many wobbles mid-service, she built her own — solid oak, dead-level, beautiful enough to be the centerpiece.
Other caterers asked where she got it. Then their friends asked. The borrowed saw became a real workshop off East Cesar Chavez, and a one-off favor became Millie’s Charcuterie Carts. We’ve never outgrown the original rule: build each one like it’s going in your own business.

— What We Believe
The Rules We Build By
Four principles that have never changed, no matter how many carts roll out the door.
Solid Wood, Always
No particle board, no veneer, no shortcuts. Every cart is real hardwood, joined to last decades of real events.
Built to Order
We don’t keep a warehouse of inventory. Your cart is made fresh for your spec, so it’s exactly right.
One Workshop
Everything is made under one roof in Austin by the same small team — never outsourced, never drop-shipped.
Stand Behind It
A five-year craftsmanship warranty on every build. If something’s wrong, we make it right. Simple as that.
— In Their Words
Years of Happy Makers
“Five years and 200+ events on our first Classic Cart. It still rolls like new. When we expanded, there was no question who we’d call.”
Rosa Tran
Owner, Marigold Catering
“We keep eight Millie’s carts in our rental fleet. They’re the only pieces clients specifically request by name. They book out every weekend.”
Daniel Weiss
GM, Hill Country Rentals
“Millie designed a custom cart around my exact menu service. The build sheet, the photos, the early delivery — every step felt like a real partnership.”

Most builds ship in three to four weeks; the Compact Rover is often faster, and custom or wholesale orders run five to seven weeks. We confirm a firm timeline on your build sheet before starting.
Yes — we ship fully assembled via white-glove freight to all 48 contiguous states. Carts arrive ready to roll straight into service. Workshop pickup in Austin is also available by appointment.
Absolutely. Every standard build can be made in white oak, walnut, maple, or cherry, and the Custom Build starts from a blank board around your exact dimensions, service style, and branding.
We do. Laser logo engraving and branded finishes can be added to any cart, and they’re included at no extra design fee on custom builds. Send us your logo and we’ll mock it up.
Our five-year craftsmanship warranty covers joinery, casters, and finish against build defects under normal commercial use. If a fault appears, we repair or replace it — you only cover return shipping.
Starting a conversation and receiving a build sheet costs nothing. Once you approve the spec, we take a 50% deposit to begin the build, with the balance due before it ships.
